The war in Sri Lanka would have ended if the DMK had withdrawn its support to the UPA government, which was providing military aid to the Sri Lankan government, AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa said on Tuesday.
She said Chief Minister M Karunanidhi’s lust for power led to the genocide of Tamils in Sri Lanka and the people would not forgive him for the betrayal.
